HomeBuyer Surveys

Are you moving home?

Make sure you have a HomeBuyer Survey on your new home before you buy it!

Whether your next move is buying a bigger house, or are getting ready to downsize, the last thing you want is for your dream home to turn into a nightmare that lands you with big, unexpected bills.

A HomeBuyer survey helps you avoid the stress of finding out problems with your new home after you have moved in.

With the cost of a survey from just £230 (for a property with a purchase price of up to £100,000), it’s affordable and quick to arrange with Richard at Guymer Architectural, a local independent practice.

What is a
HomeBuyer Survey?

It is a survey that is suitable for properties in any condition and will identify any structural issues and problems with damp or subsidence.

Finding out potential repair issues at the early stage of buying a house could save you considerable sums of money in the future.

Richard offers a full inspection including under the floors and roof

spaces (if there is safe access to do so) as well as all internal and external features including chimney stacks, roofs, walls, windows, rainwater goods, gardens, outbuildings and boundary treatments.

He can also arrange NICEIC (electrical) and Gas Safe

(previously CORGI) inspections if required.
